What is Rise?
Rise is an international student group at the University of Minnesota. We meet every week to study the Bible, have fun, and build awesome, long-lasting friendships! Some might call it a home away from home, but whether you’re a Christian or just someone curious, we invite you to come and check it out yourself!

Home Away From Home
The U can feel like a large and lonely place, so we at Rise try to make things a little bit smaller and more personal, so you can come make some new friends and find a place to call “home”. Many of us are from all around the world, come join us and you might meet someone from where you come from!
Life Together
Life is a journey and it’s not meant to be taken alone! We like to share our experience together, from big moments like graduation to small ones like studying and doing homework together. Things are always better with friends!
Bible Studies
Every week, we meet together and catch up over a yummy dinner and then we read and discuss a passage from the Bible and how it is relevant to our lives. For many people this might be your first time reading the bible and we want to guide you on this journey to explore Christianity!
Fun Trips
College life is more than just the university campus - here in America there’s so much to see and explore! Whether it be road trips to national landmarks or other major American cities or an evening at a sporting event, we love to take trips together!
